University of Eastern Finland's Link Shortener

With this tool, you can shorten links related to your work or studies at UEF. The shortened links are in the form go.uef.fi/[link ending].

You can use the link shortener without logging in, but by logging in with your UEF credentials, you have more options for configuring the link. Below is a list of features.

An unauthenticated user

• can only create short links from uef.fi addresses

A logged-in student

• can create short links from any address
• can adjust the link's validity period
• can see and manage their own created links in the dashboard

A logged-in staff member

• can create short links from any address
• can adjust the link's validity period
• can see and manage their own created links in the dashboard
• can define a link ending for the short link

The link shortener is managed by UEF's Digital Services, and they have visibility into all created short links, including the possibility to delete links if necessary. If you have any questions about the link shortener, please contact Digital Services.
